Default ZC/Si Tranny Hybrid

I've got a zc tranny with my zc motor. I've heard of putting a zc final drive on a si tranny and that is supposed to be even better than either one by themselves. I don't like the gears on my zc because I gotta shift too soon, although I have great accelleration in 5th gear. I'm thinking about going with a straight si tranny if the gears are still going to redline so quick w/the hybrid. What are the advantages / disadvantages of doing the zc final drive w/the si gears???

The advantage is quick acceleration without actually making anymore HP.

Disadvantage: High RPMs and you are always shifting.

You can put in the SI final drive but the gearing only gets shorter (more shifting).
You could put in the SI 5th gear for better highway RPMs.
You could trade me your ZC tranny & half shaft for my good SI tranny.

DX/SI gears are the same, its the final drive that's different.

Thanks everyone. That's what I figured but I wanted to make sure. That website was a lot of help. Thanks again for the info.
