Default 02 rsx type-s...wondering if i should mod now!?

i a used rsx type-s and the car has like 66K+ miles on it and i was wondering if it was worth it to mod the car out. i want to put a turbo on it and exhaust and intake and im wondering since the mileage on the car is so high would it be worth spending all that money on it since its already somewhat old...??? thanks for your input!

Well 66k is not alot of miles. You should not have any issues doing anything as long as you do it right.

hahah lot of miles.. ive "modded" hondas with more then twice that.

my used to shoot nitrous on my prelude with 160k+, as long as its a healthy engine, and you know what your doing, its fine, turbo can always wreck a factory n/a engine if you **** it up

Well you are pretty much screwed on this one guy. I would watch out. They may void your warranty if you buy aftermarket rims and tires. Sounds like BS but those two reasons were part of the reason why Acura Care voided my warranty when I went to get my Syncros replaced since they had a Service Bulletin on it. Funny thing was that the guy said my aftermarket rims and tires added stress to the tranny, and the funny thing is that I am running on DC5R rim. He also added in my suspension, and performance mods in to seal the deal. So my only advice to anyone is
DO NOT GET THE EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM ACURA CARE!!!!!!!!!

do non visible mods... dealer will notice any i h e

you may be able to get away with aftermarket cams but i doubt springs etc because at the service shops they usually check valve clearances

if you want to do anything to help power your probably gonna have to go bottom end power, higher comp pistons, lighter rods etc.

It all depends on the dealership and the service dept. My local dealership has seen all my mods and never said a word about them.
