Default How do you get the little trim below the hatch off?

Im new to the Hondas , been doing VW's my whole life , anyways.
I have a 89 Civic 4 spd manual hatch that was rear ended in the drivers back .
It ruined the tailights , Ive got new ones on the way thanx to ebay purchase, and tweeked the little trim peice that goes from one side to the other in back below the lights .
How do I get this off so that I can fix it .
thanx

u'll have to get the bumper off in order to reach those bolts that hold the rear filler piece below the tail lights

If you're just trying to change the tail lights you don't have to remove that piece. The tails can be removed for the inside. But if you are replacing the bumper and filler piece too then knockyerself out
