I'll be there with the Subaru. What is the actual length of the course going to be?

1.5 - 1.75 miles long - we might extend it next year to 2 miles - depends on how much grid room we need...

I've never run a hillclimb before. What is the procedure for orientation to the course? Is there any?

Do we walk it like an autocross or do we get low-speed orientation runs?

Or do I need to take a road trip this weekend and spend some time driving up and down now?

is this the road that goes from the base of the mountain up to the lodge at the top? Or is it a different, backroad?

You are welcome to drive up/down the road all you want - we cannot control traffic until saturday morning please do not make any high-speed runs

It is the brand new (<2 yrs old) road up the back of the mountain.

FYI - It is sooo new that all maps of the road are inaccurate.
