Since I don't think it's gay to have a 1.5" drop, with 15" wheels, I'll post one of mine. Got Tokico Illumina's with the Tokico Springs and I lOVE it. What a friggin nice ride. I auto cross it too now and it's really nice when you set them up to a stiffer level, great shocks. Anyways, rims are Konig Heliums. The front is a little lower now as it has settled just slightly.

function over form....different strokes for different folks.

1.5" is a good drop, i have 1.8 on my hatch all around and the wheels are all sitting just below the fenders edges.

You guys are dumb.. it doesn't have to be SLAMMED to look good..

A 1.5'' is more functional anyways.. gives you less camber problems, and it's easier to drive around town with dips and driveways and ****.

and if you say 2'' is a lot stiffer and better.. i honestly don't think .5'' is going to make much of a difference (performance wise).. sure it may not look as "SlAaAMmE3d y0!", but who cares..

at least it still helps your handling and is much easier to drive and not worry about parking without hitting the park stop and ****.

It still looks better than the stock ride height anyways.

to the 1.5'' drop

Try driving in a Canadian winter with a 2" drop, GOOD LUCK, can you say honda snow plow? I'm even worried about my first winter with a 1.5" drop.

only Ricers and show cars drop that much...

It doesn't look clean
It doesn't handle well
It rides like ****
It bottoms out everywhere
It kills your launch at the track
Its just all around Stupid and unconventional

While autocrossing, I've never seen that large of a drop do well at the track. Normally its the people with the 1.5-2" drops so this guy is right on.

um a waste of what? Not all cars are ment to be slammed like most hondas. You wouldnt see a kit for a supra or nsx or skyline or something like a 200sx to drop it 3 in. 1.5-2ish is just fine and probably the most functional. May not be as appealing but i thought this forums moto is ''fuction over fashion''. If people read this forum and pay attention, you'd never expect to see so many hipocrits and followers. Just agreeing with what some of the more known ht users say so that other people think they have good taste and are ''cool'' or whatever their reason for saying it. Just like with the ''HT phrases''. First it was cool to be jdm, then it was cool to bash rice, then it was cool for people to say theyre tired of hearing "rice", now the cool thing to say is ''do what YOU want, its your money''. Theres so many people with damn attention problems and need to feel cool and accepted.

looks > function

just kidding.

while my car is low, i kept it high enough to avoid rubbing/bottoming out

having a car that low is just plain stupid

at that height, i can safely have 2-3 passengers and not bottom out on these shi**y roads around here

1.5" a waste? lol-- I must admit though that a 2.5 looks the best on my car but ritew now its at about 1.5-1.75ish and it still looks 400x better than stock

stock--horrible wheel gap
