if your serious about horsepower, its the only way to go!!!!! just built new engine with roller setup, and love them, couldnt tell you how much power I gained, because this was a new setup, and before I was runnign factory roker setups, have heard storys that people have gained, anywhere from 11to25hp, Im not going to stick the old cams back in to find out... Most of your serious racers are running rollers, big advantage over factory setups!!!

This just like toda'ss vtec killer cams except it replaces hondas rocker pads with roller rockers. Great for drag not great for street. You will be on the huge lobe all the time. Go lock the pin into the middle rocker on your current engine and see how that thing idles. It won't be that pretty.

I have a set of the crane roller cams, not shelf stock, let me tell you one thing, be very careful when adjusting the cam gears. If you have over sized valves you will only have a few degress of adjustment in the gears. Too much and your valves with touch, make sure you clay the piston and check piston to valve clearance as well as the amount of adjustment you have with the cam gears. But they're bad-***.....

you dont see any one running them cause they are junk. there arent enough cam profiles to try anything different. and its quite easy to break the rockers.

however in about 1-2 months phantom grip will be releasing some roker lockers that replace the outside rockers and keep the stok centers. this way you can still use any off the shelf cam. and it will be alot cheaper than rollers. they are being tryed and proven on many top race teams around the country.

we were the first all motor car to run that setup back in 2002. we fooled around with them for 5 events+ testing. on the 6th event we put some crower 403's and went .3 faster on the very first pass. when we pulled the rockers out 2 of them just plain fell apart. the cams were out of round and we wasted 3 heads. i from personal experience can say they are pure junk.

well I think this guy is a fool brauning papdakis me gardella on and on and on are using them without a problem maybe he had installation error or you were hitting your valves?

do bang something that has been proven time and time again

as far a crower goes I wouldn't put those china junk cores a mile from my car

ask anyone on here about crower cams breaking it isn't hard to find that out.
just my 2 cents

yeah there so good and worth every penny, thats why you are selling your set.

well im such a fool i couldnt figure out how to keep the greatest cams int the world from blowing heads up, but somehow ive managed to put about 50k on a set of original crower 403's and they are still going strong.

im definetly a fool. i only spent $550 for those crowers back in 2000. i spent about 2g's on the roller rocker setup, and only one set still works.

i cant wait to see you go through growing pains with your car. im going to keep walking over to your pit and call you a fool and ask if you know what you are doing. see ya at the track.
