not sure what he wants. but maybe you guys could help me too. I want my car to sound like it has *****, but i don't want it to be ricey. I don't mind if it is loud, just as long as it sounds alright when i'm jus cruising around. Convenience is also a factor. I don't want to have to worry about scraping the exhaust. Right now i don't even worry about speed bumps even though my car is lowered. I clear them perfectly. I'm more leaning towards performance. I don't want to sound like rice. Oh yeah and build quality is a big thing too.

I got a Skunk2 catback, made by Invidia. It sounds so sweet and when vtec kicks in it sounds deeper and gets louder. My exhuast got alot louder once i out my header on. The quality is great and it is full stainless steel. I love it, teh only bad thing is taht sometimes it rattles cuz it hits the gas tank bracket. Its was fir a 95-98 but i fit it on my 01.

with my stock piping my dunk sounded just like i wanted it to... but the b pipe was made for a 95-99 gsr so it was too long and had to be cut... I took it to mineke and they fucked it up... now it sounds crappy for taking my car to meineke....

big teggie- Does your exhaust rattle because it was made for the 94-99? or does it just do that for some odd reason? Cause i'm planning on getting a used JDM 4-1 header with a used 2.5 inch carsound cat all from a '98 GSR, and then i plan on buying a new cat-back. thinking of apexi n1 or the world sport. I'm mainly looking for sound quality and performance though. Is that 15.2 1/4 mile E/T with all your mods?

does the sound have any hint of "rice"? also does anyone have pics of it on their car? from several different angles i wanna see how it looks. It looks really small in the pictures, but i saw it on the board on a black teg before and it looked pretty big.

It only rattles cuz the bend after the resonator hits the braket for the gas tank, i just need to shove something in their. I donr have any pics for you, the muffler is sorta like a greddy evo but not the oval shape it has. I ran the 15.2 with just my intake and the exhuast, i only got on run and it was the 15.2, i think i could have dropped to 15.1 if i got the other 2 runs. I just got the header on last week, the whole exhuast got alot deeper and sorta raspy, but i like it. I think i can pull a 14.9 with the header and if i get some new tires. I hate these stock michelens.

Actually my buddy has the N1 and i like it too, if i didnt get thge Skunk2 i would have gotten the N1 hands down. I think mine is louder but the N1 is still loud. I mainly got the skunk2 cuz no one around me had it yet. I was the first to rock it.

Yea..the Skunk2 is all stainless steel, better quality than the N1. I have the N1 but I wish I had the Skunk because no one here has it. I also heard it is really LOUD. Where did your Skunk2 Big Teggie?

What is the piping diameter on the Skunk2 and the N1...2 1/2? Try to post some pics of your exhaust. I haven't seen it on an Integ yet.

Since we are on the topic-
How loud is the N1? does the silencer make any diffrence. Im Going NA and want to know what the ideal set up is pipping all the way done to the muffler.

The N1 is pretty loud but very good in performance...the silencer does make a difference though. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think it is a true 2 3/8 all the way to the cat.

this is an age old topic but let me put my 2 cents in. Go with a custom TRUE 2.5 inch system with a magnaflow muffler. probably cost you 350-375 dollars.

those damn overpriced japanese exhaust systems suck and they are a ripoff. 550 for an exhaust, bla

SPOON N1.....good flow with light weight, u can keep your stock B pipe so u won't lost too much back pressure. Very deep tone too.
