What exactly does a Camber kit do?
I just got a flat tire this last weekend, and the reason was cause the inside of my tire was worn out. Now i heard if you drop your car you will need a camber kit so this won't happen, i didn't hear about this until after i lowered my car. I was wondering what a camber kit does, and is it easy to install, can i do it myself? I have a 91 ex. Thanks for all your help, sorry if its a stupid q.
Well when you lower your car the vertical alignment (camber) gets thrown off. So what the camber kit does is allow you to correct the vertical alignment so you tire wears out evenly.
As far as installation, I did mine by myself. But you will need to go to a shop to get it aligned correctly. Hope that helps.

actually only negative camber over like -2 gives you tire wear. It is actually - or + toe that willl wear the inside of your tire when combined with the negative camber. Take the car to a shop and have it aligned with the toe set at 0 on all 4 tires and ask them to write down where the camber is. If the camber is lower than -2 than a kit would not be a bad idea.
