hey guys. well im looking into purchasing this crx.
not sure on the year. The price is 800. I have started it up by havent taken it for a drive yet. But one thing I noticed when I started it up was that it was idleing very high.(2000rpms) Im not sure if that is just when it first starts to heat the engine up and then the idle goes down. I poped the hood and was pleased to see a nice clean engine. There was no oil to be found on the motor, just a little dirt. The body is in very good condition, there is only one little rust spot on the front right side above the bumper. It has new tires and aftermarket rims. There is one downside it has aletezza's which will be changed quickly.

Well now that you know what it all is, I was wondering what you guys thought. Mostly about the idle. I am just hoping thats not like a sign of that the motor is about to die or anything.

 

$800??? buy it..what color?? where you at?? i'm gonna go buy it ..how many miles on the ticker??sounds like a pretty good deal to me but i havent seen it..see if they'll let you mess around with the idle..drop it down and see if it dies..but..if not..drive it around for a few minutes and let it get warmed up real good..ive gone to look at cars before that..when cold..ran pretty good..they got warmed up and the 'true nature" showed itself..what a wordy bitch i am..anyways..$800 sounds fair to me(i shouldve said that in the beginning)

how much mileage on the car ... does the engine sound strong ... do you hear any clicks or abnorm sounds from the engine especially on idle...

and the high idle sounds like you got a untuned car... mine idle at 1.5k cold... then it bomp down to 800...

other than that sounds like a steal....

like I said before im and idiot and forgot to check the ticker.
but no there is no sounds coming out that are strange.
so I will see tom. going to go by hopefully if I can borrow a digi cam, I will snap some photos and share them with you. I plan to get the vin to carfax it.
