just wanted to know what kinda compression number i should be looking at?

seems to me like its basically an itr motor w/o the goodies in the itr head (i.e. cams, valvetrain, lma's,e ct.)

 

its got goodies thats goin in there, rocket cams and valvetrain the "small" ones........even thought all his cams are huge!!!!

 

basically it's a jdm itr motor, with equivalent to .012" off the head, assuming you took the middle layer of the gasket out. so i'd say 11.3:1 give or take.

 

think it should run ok wit the small rocket cams or buddy club spec III plus cams shafts

its exactly like a type r motor minus the mild port...valves, rocker arms, etc...imagine putting a stock head gasket on that and a type r head youll have a type r motor.

JDM ITR pistons are slightly higher in compression than the USDM ones.
