Default How to keep your front lip in good condition!!

Well I just cracked all the paint on the side of my lip when I reversed off the side of the drive way and it hit the ground... damm I hate being lowered sometimes...

seriously what are you suppose to do to keep ur lips in good condition.. besides getting them painted each year???

I have a JDM front end so I have the jdm lip and my car is only dropped 2 inches...

ARGGGGG im pissed!

Mine's so owned it looks like a cheese grater.

I suggested painting it black - repainting when necessary

Buy two? One to look pretty when you go to shows, one to use around town.

if the paint cracks like that, it means it wasnt painted correctly. Flex agent takes care of that. but mine got scuffed all the time . and bugs and rocks and ****. nothing to do ,but repaint it every so often . It should only cost like $50 if that to repaint.

Don't waste your time or effort, the lip is one of those "wear" parts as in it wears-out

I just get mine repainted once every year or two.. costs like $75 for a refinish and repaint job which is not bad at all..

be careful with leaving the tape on for more than 2 weeks or so, it really starts to be permentantly adhered on there after an extended period of time.

(i was a painter a couple summers ago )

My lip is really scratch up, so you know what I did:

1.) Realized my car is an Integra.
2.) Stopped caring and just enjoyed the car.

There ya go, problem solved.

they have these clear 3m films they put on the bumpers to prevent scratches or paint chipping....they even put it on the head lights to prevent cracks..... it isn't cheap but a lot of people are doing it now

if you are interested pm me... a friend of mine does it
