Default Have Questions about ITB's, Originally Running Port Matched Skunk2 Manifold. Please Help ITB Guys!

Alright guys, I have a 85mm bored gsr block, 11.5 c/r pistons, p&p gsr head, complete jun valvetrain including jun 3 cams, rc 310's, skunk2 portmatched manifold, 68mm rpm tb, p28/hondata setup. I made 237whp/162lbs with this setup as of now tuned by shawn at church automotive, running 60psi fp and the 310's are maxing out.

I'm debating on going itb's for more power, I was thinking of picking up a pair of 51mm jenveys with some 440's. Will I see tremendous amount of gains with my setup as it is with itb's? Also, this is going on a street/weekend car, so I'm curious as to how driveability will be affected.

I need people with first hand experience with itb's and built engines, thanks alot!

Yes it would make more power , but would not go larger than 50mm, That is what we have found to be the best. No, I cannot quote an exact gain, but can give you some realistic numbers if you are serious. E-mail me.

I emailed you DonF, Lance at hayward performance recommended 48mm horns to me. How would that be? And would portmatching the itb's (jenveys) help any if at all?

prolly get a good 5-8hp more peak ... torque is whole other story ... peak tq can go up 3-4 ft'lbs but average across the mid-range band can pick up anywhere form 20-25

good stuff, convert to ITBs, run at least 440cc injectors.

48-50mm is good enough

Which should I go with between these two that would not hurt my performance as it is now, or be overkill. I want to get the most efficient setup suitable for my motor the way its built.

48mm taper throttles are:
48mm at the open air end,
45mm at the blade and
43mm at the manifold

-or-

51mm taper throttles are:
51mm at the open air end,
48mm at the blade and
45mm at the manifold

how do you get 43mm or 45mm at the manifold when the ports are oval.
