That's a bit of a redundant question, unless you're looking for a used one somewhere.

Only authorized distributor, but not the only person in the States that has Mugen stuff. King sells the products to other companies for them to sell.

What makes you want the Mugen Intake anyways?

You have a dyno plot too show that. I'll like to see it if you have one. Thanks

if you are looking for a used one, Kengs still has 1 for sale I believe
(you'd need to purchase a filter though and it's from the 96 spec )

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=951335

just a FYI
-jeff, who would have got it, but bought something else from Kengs instead

I call bullshit. You need to prove this astranomical claim.

There have been several dyno plots of the mugen showing its worth the extra cost.

its an intake... Unless you have some kind of magic JDM dust you sprinkle on it... I don't see that claim being accurate.

Don't mean to jump in the middle of the discussion here (3:30 am...couldn't sleep).

Aren't the ARC super induction boxes pretty reputable? I know they just came out with this closed filter heat shield looking unit just recently. It's a big metal looking joby that covers that whole front passenger side of the engine bay off. I think I saw it in the newest Import Tuner issue. A little write up in there.

However, I don't know how these companies make these claims on power made by intakes. I think it's some kind of voodoo bullshit that they round up to the nearest power or square it or divide by the square root or Einsteins Law of Relativity...?

Look at AEM when they first came out they were claiming cars could make what was it 25hp on a DOHC VTEC Prelude? And around 9hp on other makes and models. Bull ******* **** Batman.

The mugen piece is nice looking, but the functionality of it is questionable. I think it would be pretty sweet if someone had the money or resorces to put together an unbiased intake test, complete with dyno charts. No tuning the car, just slap it on and test, remove, slap on and test...etc. My $.02 worth.
