Default DH-racing head

Hey guys, I just ordered a dh-racing head package for my car, but I still have the stock cams, Im just wondering which cams would be best (i plan on getting a turbo kit this winter) for my setup. I am also going to get a dh block this winter, but for now Im just curious to see what kind of gains Im going to get with just the head and some cams. Anyone else using a dh head? If so what kind of gains did you get..Right now Im using a stock block with bolt ons

Only an hour on the dyno and a weak/unfinished header just to get some #'s. What motor are you running

i wouldnt buy nothing from him. he dosent stand behind his work. yeah i got a b16 from him too. supposed to be sleeved and it not. also the head he sent me sucks. half of the head was not put together. missing 2 cam caps from the head. which is a must need part. he told me he lost them and to go and find 2 of them. never did sent them. also was supposed to get new valves, he left te pld ones in. buddy got a ls/vtec from him and supposed to do a valve job on it and he didnt. kept the same bent valves in the head. so my buddy had to pay for a valve job that he already paid for. dave never sent him no money back for that either. look up past post on him and they are not good. i got a built b16 block and head from him if you want to buy it. im me. thanks for screwing me dave https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=954009

I purchased a DH-racing head for my d16y8. Everything was sent with the head, and i put a skunk 2 cam on, and the gains are unbelieveable. Only thing now is to reprogram the ecu to rev to 8. Very happy with the results. Good luck w/ your set up.

whats up dome i started this kinda of thread in the drag section about the hickman race motors and all i got was negative response. that site looks very convincing but when it comes down to previous costumers. All that DH-Racing gets in rating is horrible from people on here. seems like he screws people. heard a horror story about a 9000 dollar motor. here is the link to my thread in the drag section. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=954009

what i want to know is how does everyone still hear about dh-r in so surprised that after all the crap that has gone on with him people still trty to vouch for him i guess its just one of those things that some love him and some hate him but he must advertise some where that alot of newbies look at but good luck to all ..
and i see this thread going straight to hell th eshits gonna start flying soon ...

I'll be the first to admit daves customer service isnt the best but I have yet to experince seeing anyone getting screwed over. Problem now is he took to much work on and things are taking much longer than they should. He has hired a few more people to keep up with demand.

This all seems eerily similar to the whole K20EG situation.

I really hope I am wrong, but time will tell.
