Default radio code

Got a used civic from the dealer, they disconnected the battery and reconnected it. Radio does not work, without having to go back and have them pull the radio is there any other way around this?

Thanks,

What year civic? I don't think the 88-91's have them in there. Anyways most of the time the reset code is printed on the back or in the ash tray.

Look in the glove box for a sticker with the radio's serial #. If not pull the radio yourself and get the serial # yourself. Then call the dealership and give them the serial # to run it to get the code.

BTW don't forget to tell ask them who to send the bill to for your labor and time.

since its an anti theft radio you will need to pull the radio out bring it to the dealer and show them your title for the car to prove that its yours.

or better yet just take it back to the dealer you bought it from and tell them to do it since they were the ones that disconnected the battery.

Thanks guys,

I thought there would be a backdoor for this, I guess I will have to bring it back to the dealer to have them pull it out.
