millermatic MIG 135 with cart and gas

is this machine good start with.
this will be my first time welding.
i've been wanting to weld since forever.
i want to do exhaust pipes, just some little stuff.

it's $599 and $140 for 40cf gas cyl. (full)
$235 for auto darkening helmet.

it should be a good machine to start off with and will handle what you want to do with it. I started w/ the Hobart 135 which is very similar to the Miller

I also have the Hobart 135.....great machine for someone who hasn't welded before. Affordable enough for the beginner, but still powerful enough to do most anything that a weekend mechanic would need.

why not get it w/o the cart and save a few bucks. Then make a kart for your 1st project
