89 Civic Hatch pings bad when warm and wierd clutch pedal??
Im new to the honda world , but I have a large background in VW's.
I have a 89 Civic hatch w/a 4spd man.tran. that I just bought.
The engine pings REALLY bad on acceleration at all rpms and all gears but only when the car is cold ,and the clutch engages almost as soon as you touch the pedal.
My question is ........
Can I adjust the clutch pedal to engae differently and how to I set the timing on the engine so that I can rectify the pinging?
I have a timing light but no manual.
