H22 in 91 prelude
Hey all this is kinda a broad topic but I was just wondering if anybody out there has done a 91 prelude swap for an H22 and how hard was it etc. I hear that the 91 body has more room than say the 92. One other ?....what would your opinion be of the best exhaust to run on this car....another point is that I do plan on turning this car turbo. Thx so much!!!!!
it is not an easy swap from what i've heard. run a search on this site to get more info. also, try searching the 3rd gen forum on preludepower.com... there is a TON of info on that board about this swap. it can and has definitly been done, although like i said it isnt the easiest swap. there is only one company that makes the mounts i believe (placeracing if i remember correctly).
gl man. if you do go through with it post some pics
i was considering doing this swap in my 91 2.0 si but decided against it due to my car being too crappy to spend the money.

as far as i know the 91 has a lot less space under the hod than a 1992...afterall teh 92 bodystyle is the same that the h22a was designed for.
the one person i know that did this swap did not have fun doing, he said it was great when it was done, but the amount of effort required would make him rethink doing it again.
