how similar are the 96 jdm and 97 usdm exhaust maniflods?
I know this is a forced induction question but I figured you guys might know off hand.
I've got a 96 Jdm B18C-R Im getting a turbo kit...the only kit I could find for a type r was the the 97-2001 kit, usdm obviously. will that turbo mani fit my bolt pattern?
also the engine is in my 5th gen civic. do you think I will have any problem with clearances for the intercooler plumbing ect. (or should I ask the hybrid guys?)
thanks in advance guys.

Any manifold for a B18C will fit your "bolt pattern".
Now, the clearance issues in a civic (or even a teg) with a turbo are always of concern.

I ask only because the headers on my B18 are for a 97 B18 and the flange was altered to fit properly.

You may have had problems going between a B18B and a B18C., because there shouldn't have been any difficulties between B18C (ITR or non- ITR) motors.
