what brand of front and rear strut bars and tie bars are good for a type s and also not that expensive?.. and is it true that the rear dc tie bar performs pretty good?

but it will all depend on what you like and want.

 

The DC5 chassis is actually very stiff and you will not notice much of an improvement if any from strut bars. If you start running very high spring rates > 900 lbs (rear) or so, then they might, "might" help. I'd save your money unless you are going for the bling factor.
