Default is this a good buy?

okay i own a 1989 honda CRX Dx.....with 160,XXX miles on it i was talkin to someone i just met in Ny (wayne county Area) and he said he could hook me up with a Whole SOHC 1991 Vtec motor out of a CRX si....with MPFI.....the ecu...and everything i need to hook it up....and also 2 tranny's......for a whopping 400$...btw the vtec motor only has 70,000...what should i do...and also is there anyone in NY who would like to help out?? if so please IM me on AIM at The Mighty Schaz thanks

i didnt know they made vtec motors in 1991, unless he did a mini me swap on it ask him for the engine stamp number that should tell you what it is...

Honda made the first vtec motor in 1990. You can tell from the casting on the head what year the motor was made. I know you can on the pr3 head.
