Does anyone know if it is possible to properly mount a nitrous bottle in the spare tire well, while still having the carpet come down over it to leave the trunk with a 'stock' look?

 

Nope, the way the bottle sits, the top will stick out, it's not deep enough. You could, however, build a taller false floor so it won't be visible.

 

It won't work with a 10lb. bottle. Get something smaller.

 

just stick it behind your passanger seat and cover it with t-shirts or something

 

Why not try those really small bottles? You can stick those damn near anywhere and they are hard to find if you do it correctly.

 

nitrous bottles have a siphon tube in them. you mount it angled down w/ the nozzle valve handle up. if you do anything at all, mount it perpendicular to the car and tilt the nozzle towards the driver compartment at about a 45 degree angle.

build a false bottom, get a smaller bottle, or mount somewhere else.
