Anyone running 17" wheels with +42mm and 2" drop?
I'm planing on getting H&R race springs (2" in front, 1.8" in back), and then Racing Hart C2 wheels in 17X7.5" with a 42mm offset and 205/45/17 tires.
Anyone running a similar setup? Or have any idea how this will work? I'm mainly concerned with rubbing.....
This is on a 5th gen.

I ran H&R race springs with Volk SE37K 17X7.5 +40MM offset. I rubbed a little in the beginning in the rear.....but the fenders naturally rolled themselves....the fronts would rub a little when the wheel was turned all the way taking a good speed U turn.
I don't think you will have any big problems running +42MM offset.....maybe some rubbing in the beginning....but thats about it.

I got a set of 17X7 G-Games Wolf 77 1pc Silver wheels w/ +42 on my 2000 BB6. I'm running 215/40/17 Falken tires with Tein Basic Damper Coilovers and my tires are tucked in a little. I tried running 18s but even with the fenders rolled, that didn't go too well. I don't know about 7.5" width and 205/45/17 tire profile, but I used the recommended 17x7 tire size with a pretty reasonably low drop and theres no rubbing at all.
