Default WTH is this JDM EF9 part?

I bought a EF9 rear hatch with the bronze glass and mine came with a different looking "H" badge in the middle. Usually i think the H badges are standard chrome ones, but mine looks like a chrome one mounted on a black base. It appears to be all one piece (so someone didnt just mount the chrome one on top of a black base, it came that way). And the most interesting thing is, is that it has 2 wires coming out the back of it, as if its suppost to light up. It all looks OEM because the wires match the rest of the wires on the hatch itself and on the end of the 2 wires, theres an OEM connector, which was plugged in. It also appears that my hatch came with the center tail light section that lights up because i found cut wires that lead to a grommet that is on the panel where the center tail light section is. Anyone ever see or heard of this? Maybe i'll have my friend take a pic of it and post it for me...

BTW, it is a EF9 SiR hatch and not the 25X or some other lower model.

How can it be the most rare part when like 4 ppl alone have them on this board. Its not that rare at all.

WTH...never said it WAS rare...i was questioning it. Only 4 ppl on this board have it? Id say thats grounds for it being somewhat rare...

edit: i guess u were replying to what the other guy said. Also, someone swapped the center section for a blank one...so someone knew whats up.

hahaha...hells yea...j/p

i need someone with a big picture of that advertisement and who can read japanese so i know what in fact it actually does. The emblem unit does not look to be transparent, so if it lights up, i dont know how u can actually see the light. Initially i thought some guy in japan just glued that **** on there, kinda like ppl do here. I thought it was japan rice...but its definitely OEM as seen in the brochure/ad.

I'm not saying every Honda-Tech person on here. I am saying out of EF/ED ppl that accually post. So maybe 4 out of lets say 500ish... Heck, if I wanted one I'm sure I could find a place to get it but personally I think its kinda tacky and I dont want it on my car.

Thats right, these light up center panels aren't rare at all, so if anyone has any they don't want I'll be generous and offer oh, say five bucks to take them off your hands.

however if it's just an led or light bulb. you might fry it by puting an indiglow transformer on it. i here indiglows work at like 150Vish

i have a small ( 1" X 1" X 1.3") transformer from a petal set i'll sell ya for $10 + shiping.

There are 2 small boxes still inside the hatch..i will remove those and trace wires. I think one was for the center tail light section, and one is for this H badge.

I have removed the 2 black boxes from the inside of the hatch, and they look identical, but have different numbers printed on them. The boxes look like the one found on this thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=553078 .
In that thread there is only 1 box, but like i said earlier, i think 1 box was for the center garnish, and the other was for the H badge that i have. I even have the little grommet that is on the center garnish wiring harness (if u look closely at the thread i posted, u will see it). The grommet is used so the wiring can go through the hatch panel and into the center garnish. Too damn bad i didnt get the garnish, as someone removed it and cut the 2 green wires . Should i go ahead and hook up 12V through the black boxes while its plugged in to the H badge? Would hooking up 1 or 2 AA's (without the blk boxes) burn up the H badge? How many amps does a AA have? So many questions, so little answers...

As it stands, it does appear that i have the hardware/wiring for hooking up a center garnish (which i dont have).
