I just realized there were 7 beginners with no track experience and a few with only 1 or 2 events. I think we just found a new group of Track Junkies. Someone should take a video camera and get 7 interviews after their first session. Wish I could see myself after my first session of my first track event.

 

I was thinking that I might stop by for a few minutes.

I'll be there, my first time, and I will have a video camera with me (Canon ZR10 MiniDV), along w/ a 500mm telephoto lens for my SLR. I just finished adapting the IO Port video camera mount to work w/o a roll bar and it is steady as a rock. Maybe I can get in some interviews (pictures of big grins no doubt) and do a little documentary.

 

How many of you are going up from Charlotte on Friday afternoon/evening?
I'll be heading up around that time, and if anyone is interested in going up in a caravan, let's put it together.
