1) Search.

2) It wont be as easy as a 5th gen but wont be as difficult as a K into a Civic.

3) Ditch your transmission before you go INTO a ditch when it craps out with an H22 on it.

4) Get an H22 AND it's transmission and put them in. Preferably manual. Dont succomb to my same failure. I'm on my 2nd auto tranny because Accord tranny's are notoriously hideously unreliable

am gonna do the same thing in my 2000 accord just collecting the money at the moment.

i have question i think am not gonna put the normal H22a i want to put the H22a Type S.

can this be done ?? is it the same size and weight ??

i have manual accord. can i use the current gear with the H22a i have heard accord manual gear are strong.

the eng here in the middle-east are very very cheap u can get the normal JDM H22a for 650$ or buy half car with every thing for like 900$ to 1000$ complete with gear and every thing.

so i think it's cheaper the turboing my F23a.

thanks......

tyep-s h22a is an ATTS swap, meaning its gonna be an extra 90lbs or so sitting on the car that does nothing.

and for the guy with teh auto 6thgen gen, id looks into getting an obd1 auto prelude swap since it has a better tranny, and then run runt eh obd1 computers.

if you really want a bit more stock look for an SiR S-Spec which has the lsd 5spd and the 217 hp h22a.
