The seller of these seats say that they are jdm Ef civic seats, but are they out of an EF9 or EF3 or anything else? They dont look like EF9 seats. Please help. TIA

 

I dont think that those are EF seats at all. They dont look like them especially the headrests. The DX headrests were solid and didnt have the hole in them. But the Si seats had the hole in them but they are recessed into the seat and those are not. They look like maybe a DA or something. Nothing that I have ever seen before.

Nope...

They dont even look like a seat from a Ef....They look more like a newer couple style civic seat or maybe an integ seat...

Those seats are definitely from an EF car. The seat itself appears to be identical to the non-Si Civic seats, while the headrests are identical to Si headrests. Basically they are Si headrests on a regular Civic seat. Not sure exactly what car they came from, but it is certainly an EF.

They are most definitely NOT Integra seats, nor are they from any '92+ Civic.

 

ya if you look at the seat back adjustment, you will see the different style handle. i have the same type of adjustment but mine is the red stitched jdm seats. they might be out of a EF in a different country.

Yeah, now that you mentioned that, those seats use the '88-89 style recline handle. The storage pocket is also on the back of only one seat, which is an '88-89 thing. '90-91 seats had storage pockets on both seats.

 

Ya man, I had a 91 si hatch, and my seats were not the same color, but were identical in design.

PS, my guess is still 88-91 civic jdm or edm. Likely 88-89 however.
