Motor Rebuild pt. 2 please comment....
This motor has 168,000 miles on it. I am fully rebuilding it. Maybe you can see in a couple of pics the factory honing marks (you can in person). Opinions would be appreciated. Does everything look normal? etc..........
here is a sideshot
here is a pic of the top of the head......should it have so much of a burnt coating?
here is a shot of the valves....look ok for 168k?
cylinder walls.....I could see the factory hone marks....
here are the tops of the pistons. The pic makes them look terrible bcause of flash?
they just had a heavy coating of carbon
This is a clutchmasters stage 1 clutch with about 35k on it. Should the fingers be showing wear (at the end of the arrow)?
Comments are appreciated!

did the guy ever change the oil?
my cam cover is so clean you can eat off it............you would be suprised what changing the oil can do........
that head does not look that great......it might be ok but i hate to see that kind of neglect.....i would be upset if there was oil caked on the cam rails like that......
as for the clutch.......there will alway's be wear on the fingers of the plate. the relese bearing is always in contact with that part of the clutch every time you press that clutch pedal............dont worry about it........
