Bye Bye Honda, Hello Scion (56k Go Get Lunch) P.S. Scion Review
So guess I guess I have crossed into the darkside and traded in my honda for a 2005 Scion TC. I decided I would provide a bit of a picture post and a little review for you all.
Here is the above shots. These ones show off the cool roof which is all glass, with a front and rear seat sunroof.

Here are the obvious front, back, side, and angle shots

The interior, which is very roomy, and very very comfy. The seats are nicely bolstered and everything is easy to reach. The guage cluster is a cool brushed aluminum look and lights up amber, and all the surfaces have a cool texture to them. Also there is a shot of what the front and rear sunroof look like from inside.

Here is the hatch.

The Stereo is actually really nice. AM/FM/CD/MP3 and its also XM ready although it was to expensive of an option to have the factory do it so I will add it later and much cheaper. Its all Pioneer which isn't the best but its pretty good and its a 6 speaker system which sounds suprisingly nice for a stock system. The first shot is of the cool cover that folds down over the head unit and the second is of it open and shows another neat feature which is being able to customize the greeting. All in all kinda cool for a stock stereo.

The wheels are 17" Alloys which I think look really good. The wheel wells are so big though they almost only look like 15's. The car could easily fit 19's under it with no modification.

Few misc. things here. The key is cool with the scion emblem on one side and all the keyless entry stuff built into the other side making it handy with no extra fob. The headlight like other people mentioned kinda resembles the new BMW 6's headlights and is nice and bright and clear.

And finally the engine. The 2.4L VVT-i from the camry is in it. 160HP is faster than I thought it was going to be and has more torque than I thought it would it pulls really nice.

All in all I love the car and I am very glad I bought it. I only have 3 complaints that I have been able to find.
1. There is no "pause" feature on the stereo, you either have to just mute it or turn it off but if you mute the CD continues to run.
2. There is no beeping or noises or anything if you leave the lights on, which doesn't happen often but its nice to have.
3. It rained 15 minutes after I washed it and took all these pics.
Feel free to comment or ask questions and I will answer as soon as I get the chance.

Well not unless you consider 160 hp/163 ft lbs. in a 2800 lb. boat quick. IMO TC isn't all thayt it's hyped up to be, sure it looks nice, but I think the interior feels cheesy and cheap.

Yeah its fairly quick, nothing amazing or anything. I got rid of my honda because it was dying a slow death and I am sick of the scene around here. I don't plan on making this any faster or really doing anything to it. The Cadillac you see in the background is my new project.
man if only it was a honda. im gettin a feeling that the honda accord coupe sales are gunna drop. esp w/ that manual. i hope you got a good deal for that strut bar($225 they must be nuts) is it just me or should the tach and the gas gauge swap places. very nice car

eh, nice for a daily driver I guess. Are they less than $15k?
2800lbs, ONLY 160 hp, and the looks of a maxima/civic/bmw all smooshed into one ugly mess = not for me
plus, I don't like toyotas.
As long as you like it though. 99% of the population would detest my car, that's for sure.

congratulations on a nice car. it will "feel" a lot faster than hondas because of the much bigger torque and be much easier to maneuver in city traffic.

Yeah, that car looks really nice. I wish I had a new Scion TC, but instead I'm currently taking a break from repainting and redoing the bodywork on my EG hatch. Ah well, just one more year of college and then I'll have the money to do what I want
.
And there's nothing about 160hp that a turbocharger won't cure
