Well i finally pulled my ***** out and decided to enter the competition.
[story line]

first run i went off the course. 2nd run i got a 64 second time. 3rd run off course. 4th run 63 seconds. While i was marshalling around the course, i got some tips on a set of 3 corners from these 2 older guys. i studied them and then on my 5th run i got a 61 second run! I was soo happy!

Note: i was faster then everyone in the pic except the Subaru i think.





and on my last free lap with a friend. i hit a pylon (goign to fast at around 80 KM/H)


I cant wait to get some real tires (azenis), some strut bars and maybe shocks!

save your money and get some koni yellows and GC coil overs, then get think about a rear sway.

strut/stress bars don't do ****

 

i just broke my lip to dude, im feal ya, and u should look into getting some adjustable shocks u will love it, i just got me some kyb agx's for 300

 

yea i was looking into agx's. its funny i knew before i even did the event i was gonna fall in love with it. and now since i was trying to stop spending cash on my car looks like im gonna be spending more! but its worth every single penny.

yea from what the guys at the track told me, most of em just have the bar there so that they can put their video cams on which is what i want lol. maybe a c-pillar bar will be useful.

any more advice for me guys?

that is wayyyy better then a cpillar bar or whatever.


id go with yellows and some GC see how you like it, then maybe ad a rear sway. then start uping the spring rates

lip was glued/epoxied by my father and is drying up right now!

im starting to save for suspension stuff and related items as well...cant wait for the next season! i still got 2 more events and thats the end of the season!

 

What class were you in? I would get your mods according to your class and that could help you win lots. I just got back from a two-day event also. Finished 6th in my class. It was the western canada champonships for solo 2 but there was only a slim 90 cars out.
