they are small and weak. but they are cheap and can be fast as ****. it your into drag racing watch pro import drag races and they mostly use CRX's and hatches. and unlike what most people seem to think you can have a reasonably quick crx without doing a motor swap. you just have to know what your doing. crx= good choice in my book

beating those would be easy with a D series personally,. unless they are real built up, depends if they drive manual or automatic, many factors man. with some internal work, its possible, not very hard either.

Not much... a B18c5 CRX (which can be had for about $5000) Runs mid to low 13's on street tires, soooo.... how many camaro and firedbirds can do that for that cheap?

A lot of them.
Get a CRX, you'll never regret it

There's a guy from the Toronto area Paul Bhawan from Splitfire. He now drags Canada's fastest import which is a 5th gen civic @ 8.66(personal best) 8.84(canadian record). But anways, before he built this car, he drove a 4th gen civic si with the original SI motor. He ran something like 11.3 at his best with that 105hp SI motor + mods.
Here are the weights to compare...

I'm begining to enjoy my sedan more than my hatch...
Also, I would avoid anything pre 88... Not many parts available, and swaps are more difficult.
