almost failed smog check on 2001 stock questions
just bought the car about amonth ago. i passed the smog check by a millimeter. surprised that such a new car should have problems doing that. the mechanic said i need:
1) a tuneup
2) Fuel Injection Service
3) clean the throttle body
4) replace spark plugs
should that take care of my problem of barely passing the smog check?
(i know i need to replace plugs cuz i got 62k miles)
he claimed it would add some power back. is that true?
thanks
