Default Went to the track and spent some time on the dyno.

This weekend my brothers and I decided to go to the track and get some time on a dyno. Friday we went to Firebird International in Chandler AZ. Heres my best pass of the evening. (please refain from making fun of me)

R/T: .423
60FT: 2.348
1/8mi: 9.717
1/4mi: 15.03 @ 92.26mph

Saturday morning went to dynocomp in Scottsdale AZ. and come to find out my VAFC was really, really out of tune. The air/fuel ratio was all over the place and the car was running extremely rich. After about an hour we were able to get 13 more horsepower in the top end. and the air fuel was much better.

162.7 HP
123 FT/lbs

The car has:
Spoon Filter
JDM 4-1 header
Kakimoto cat-back
Apex-i Vafc
AEM cam gears and pulleys

Tell me what you think. I am open to suggestions and ideas. The car feels 100% better.

Heres the website to the dyno place:http://www.dynocomp.com

I am going to try. I have video of it on the dyno also. I just don't have a scanner or anything.

I know the numbers are low. I do believe that the car would do much better now.

Also keep in mind that it was very hot around 90 degrees, and it was pretty humid, (for AZ) there was a big storm just north of us. And I think the elevation is around 2000FT, not too sure about that though. I also had a fully loaded car and it was my first trip to the track with this car, second time ever.

Dear god, my car looks exactly the same, same hood, front end, sides, color, wing, no rear lip.

If you dont jump to conclusions and look a little further down the thread that you linked to you may be able to figure something out...

Its my mine and my wifes car.

The first run on the dyno showed 150hp. Obviously something was wrong. I am looking into a rear lip, I just have other priorities with the car right now. Thanks for the responses

wow, that's amazing that you can get 13 hp just from VAFC tuning with just bolt ons... nice!

Isn't that a Dyno Dynamics dyno? If so, those numbers aren't bad really.

You should post up your plot, that would be more informative than just peak numbers

It was a dyno-dynamics. It usually shows about 8% lower than a normal one. If you look at the website you can see what kind it is. I will try and post it up later.
