alil help changing cap and rotor

Default alil help changing cap and rotor

hi guys im trying to change my cap and rotor on a 1997 honda civic dx. i go the distribitor off and the rotor is stuck. i dont know how to remove it. any where i can find help on this or any info will help. thanks guys

you need to turn the pulley till you see the screw, just take it off and your set. cant you turn the part where it goes to the cam? i think you can. give it a try

when u say pully are u talking about the black plastic that is underneath it?

which one is the pulley?? there is a black plastic underneath the rotor and its blocking the screw. what pulley do i turn? can you elaborate please. im stuck and my car is outside just sitting there lol... this sucks.. can anyone give me more info on this. thanks

Tap the key to crank the engine (without starting it). Do this a few times until the screw rotates around where you can reach it.

Also...whenever your unscrewing the screw..its gonna be a bitch...try your best not to strip the screw...or you'll be screwed
