Stock brake pads versus RM Racing ones
Hi guys, well, I had to put the winter wheels/tires on so I decided to swap my brake pads (they were gettting thin anyways). I was using RM Racing's front pads (made for 91-96 NSX) for both the street and track. FANTASTIC pad. Better bite than the Porterfield R4s and very close to the R4 without the noise. I used the RM pad for the street, autox, and track.
Anyways, I took them off and replaced them with the OEM pads. My gosh, the ITR's brakes feel crappy with the stock pads. Maybe it is a combination of the winter tires and the stock brakes..
Regardless, a big
to RM's pads (not talked about here much, NSXTC JR recommended them to me) and a
to the OEM pads. Makes me not want to drive the ITR..
