You obviously have not done it if it is so obvious. Do you even know which way the valves sit?
Anyway, vsbb6, You will need to make a tool to keep the valves from dropping in or use compressed air in the chamber to keep them up. really try a search.

Yup, use the air method.
And here's a freebie tip:
- When reinstalling the springs, you will have the springs compressed and you'll be trying to put those two little retainer things on the end of the valve. It is MUCH easier if you take just a dab of Vaseline and put it on the end of the valve so the little retainers will stick to it until you decompress the spring. Otherwise, you better have a long-reach magnet and a lot of patience!
