valve clearance is checked between the valve stem and the adjustment screw on the end of the rocker arm. I don't know exact specs but i believe around .006-.008" Good Luck. Don't quote me on this but i believe the valve clearance specs can be found somewhere on the underhood.

considering that honda dont have lifters?????? place between the top of the valve and the rocker arm adjustment screw.... good luck.... just make sure the engine is COLD! 6 hours or more.... if not it will all out of whack

yeah definitely between the adjustment screw and the valve stem, its not a debatable thing, that is the only correct place, and i would go in the middle of the clearance range, so if it's .007-.009" go with .008"

no, you need to put it between the adjuster screw and the top of the valve stem. lossen the jamb nut on teh adjuster screw. then move the feller guage back and forth while you screw the adjuster screw in. when the guage stops moving, back the screw off just a tid bit and remove the guage. tighten the jamb nut and do it over for the rest of the valves.

Make sure after you tighten then nut though that you check the cearance again, when tightenning sometimes you can move it a bit, triple check

I just brought my motor to a local place. 45 bucks

Are you sure the engine has to be cold though?
