TPS problems
I have just done a DOHC ZC swap into my standard 91 CRX. I'm throwing a code 7, which is tps I measue the voltage it reads 4.5-ish volts at idle than .5-ish volts at wide open throttle. The opposite of what its supposed to. So I switch the wires like I'm supposed to and the car runs very bad bogging at open and closed throttle lower and higher RPM. But when I switch the wires back to the orginal positions when it read 4.5 volts @ idle and after the engine is cold it boggs at light and heavy throttle @ 2000 rpms and lower and runs strong otherwise. So what could possibly be the problem? Should I just ignore it if its running fine?
My d16z6 did that when I swapped my crx dx's engine out.... did you clear the ecu after you switched the wires around... if not pull the negitive (-) battery cable off for about 10 sec... then put it back on, see if that helps.
I switched the wires like I should have but it still boggs like crazy under 2000 rpms on light throttle and when I give it heavy throttle under 2000 rpms its doesn't bogg. Could it be related to fuel pressure? Or timing? Or what? Please help.
I have tried advancing the ignition timing and retarding it neither work for me it seems like. I'll take it out and it will run fine down the block. But as soon as a drive a little farther it will start to bogg on me under 2000 rpms. Could anything else be a factor?
