Default buying 99 LS- need expert advise!!!

In about a few days I am going to purchase my first Integra.(LS) I have an extra JG B16A pro series head that I want to put on the LS block. I have been told that I need to swap out the pistons. I need to know what pistons are best....(ie. brand size compressoin etc.) and what else do I need besides pistons? My head is complete with vtec cylinoid etc. etc. I would like to know what else everyone has done that has an LSvtec. I need ideas, cause this is my first LSvtec. Also I did a search and didn't find any detailed info. So any one that can help -TIA.

dude, what do you mean no detailed info?? there's a lot of info on here on LsVtec. I've read many threads about lsvtec and they seem detailed to me. also try team-integra.net. that might help out.

Mainly I want to know what ppl have done, just so I can learn from other ppl's trial and error. I did a search and came up with stuff that I already know. I just want to know what everyone has experimented with and what the outcome was.

if you dont go forged, i'd go with the usdm ITR as the craziest piston i set in there. pr3's, p30's, JDM ITR's, and the crazy CTR's will run some crazy compression in there. the compression will run too hot for cast pistons that aren't oil squirted. if you go forged w/ rods, i like long rod setups like what endyn offers at http://www.theoldone.com . compression wise, i'd run near a 12:1 w/ forged. then i'd save some money and buy some crazy cams. if you want to rev much past 7 or 7500... on stock rods... get arp rod bolts, either way run vtec oil pump and water pump. use a chipped p28 w/ hondata s200 then find a tuner. i'd also recommend taking that crank and having it balanced.

after all that, look for a gsr trans, or if you're crazy a b16 trans. you could also play w/ just swapin finals in your LS trans.
