Default air/fuel R.? settings

I have a air / fuel gage. and mine is at .80 to .91 all the time . isn't this too rich?? shouldn't it read .40 to.50 for good mix and -.40 is too lean . can some one exsplain to me if im right or wrong!

Sounds like your using a 1volt sensor, not really that accurate or good for tuning, i would use a 5volt wide band system like the motec or AEM.

Save up. Im a broke as hell college student. Saving seems to work for me.

lm-1 wideband . Worth sacrificing and saving for. We put all this money into builds. Makes no sensoe not to save for an affordable metering device to make sure that motor is safe.

A dyno session is about half the cost, you could have it tuned, get some piece of mind on the A/f,and get a whp number. usually about 200 or so
