does the rsx type r come with hids? if so anyone know wheree to get them from, i dont want to try ghettorigging some hids from another car

Besides ebay which can have deals every now n then just do a lot of surfing with search engines.

 

HID's are not a factory option on the RSX-S. there are aftermarket HID kits made for the RSX-S.

just to mention that aftermarket HID kits are not DOT street legal. but taht doesn't stop people from putting them on heheh

 

they were an option on the DC-5 Type R, I believe..so they would have to be imported or ebayed

 

I've got a set of 4,300k from xenon depot. So far so good. Had them for about 2 months. can't complain for except I wish the kit had 2 relays instead of 1 and the
bulbs were Phillips. Installation was a piece of cake.
1)Pull bumper
2)Pull headlights
3)Dremmel hole big enough to fit hid bulbs thru existing holes
4)Bend metal clips that holds old bulbs in to secure the new hid ones
5)Plug all wires and ground ballasts
6)Test & make sure everything works b4 puttin everything back
7)Put everything back on.
8)Go far a drive and watch everyone move out of your way when driving in the passing lane!!!
Just remember that the left side will beam is always lower than the right side.
You'll notice this more with the hids. Also, the JDM DC5 Hids are made for right
handed drive vs our left handed drive so the pattern WILL be different.(from what
a buddy of mine has to say with his JDM DC5 Hids.)

 

there isn't a "RSX Type R"

ITRs have the option of HIDs though.

 

snce we are on this topic, i was wondering if the 05 rsx s will come with HIDs...?
