I know that 88 CRX have manual seat belts... while the other are passive... maybe 88 four doors are the same? Also, Canada never changed to passive either.

I'm looking into just swapping out the ones from an 88/89. I'm just wondering if I could just reuse the big torx style bolt that's holding the passive seatbelt track onto the car.

PLus having to use a 3point harness DAILY gets annoying. And technically unsafe w/o a rollcage.

And I haven't done it yet....still trying to find the correct parts. Can I use the OEM ones out of a CRX??

Yup. They switched to passive in 90-91 then IIRC switched back with the EG chassis.
