Default H23 Auto tranny upgrades?

I was just curious if there are any upgrades out there for the auto tranny that comes in the 92 Si (H23A1). I just want more positive shifts with less lag without having to do a manual conversion.

doubt it. Maybe a better torque converter for an upgrade but that's about it. Try running synthetic ATF.

I meant to throw something in my last post specifically picking out torque converter's. I wanted to ask if anyone know where a torque converter can be bought for a 4th gen lude.

There's nothing out there that you can purchase for the Preludes. TCI makes a new converter for the Civics, but that's it. You will need to look to ProTorque or JMO USA for modification of a stock converter. I've heard good things from some Prelude owners who have used modified converters from ProTorque. JMO seems reputable, but I don't know of anyone who has used their services.

Other than the torque converter, I would look to the clutch material. Switching from the OEM clutches to some Raybestos kevlar clutches would really help the shift firmness and lockup rate. In addition, a switch to synthetic Dexron ATF from the Honda fluid will help with shift firmness.

You can always just use a h22 tranny for shorter gears
