so i did a search to find out what my valet key does. It says it does everything but open the trunk and glove box. If so, whats the point of having a key like that if theres an inside trunk release and its a hatchback? Also, does anybody have any practical uses for this key other than the implied valet?

 

The valet key does not open the inside truck release on my sedan.

i know it benefits my coupe b/c it has a key lock on the trunk release

 

cant open glove box too..
