Well, what seemed to be a basic bolt on project took much longer than expected. We got the stock one off by breaking every bolt on there. When we got to the cat, we had to cut the bolts off both sides of the cat and drill through the old bolts that were expanded inside so we can bolt the new one up. A simple 1/2 hour - 1 hour project turned into a 4 hour one. Thanks to a friend in Omaha for helpin me out on the 5 zigen cat back.

My GF got her 5zigen cat back on her teg and It sounds BEAUTIFUL. Not loud and raspy but deep and mellow. It is so nice. Got many compliments on it.

Yup. I got it used. It used to be on a supercharged R but the guy supposibly sold that exhaust for a spoon rearsection.

 

what kind of header are you running with it??
and how are the hp/performance gains on just the exhaust?

 

Well, we got the exhaust because the old one was shitty and rattled. Its a stock header and stock cat. It used to sort of have a bog in lower RPM's and this elminated it. She wasnt looking for as much performance but more of a nice mellow sounding exhaust to replace the stock rattling one.
