Yeap these are Volk Copies but they cast not forged which also mean they are about 2x more weight than the original.

But they are still made by Rays Engineering. Here is what this place offers. Is this any good?

yeah they are. try finding it on rays site or anywhere in japan you won't find it listed under rays. I don't really care for copied stuff, but if you are going to list it as made by a reputable company that doesn't even make it that is just plain wrong
those stores
those stores
they are just a new lineup just like that g-games series they have.....just because they arent everywhere in japan or on their website yet dosent mean they dont make them.
I don't doubt you, but actually they are listed in Japan but as V-SPEED SR-08, supposely a cast copy of CE28N. It is just funny how g games is listed though but not Vspeed. I'll give rays japan a ring and find out later.

Compared to forged?
Not as light, not as strong.

being forged has nothing to do with weight or strength

Forging allows for greater materlial elongation while retaining the same strength
the light weight comes from using less material but it's not really any stronger because they use less material
also forged parts are more likely to break rather than bend which is not always a good thing if you drive your car in pothole country
Non forged parts are usually less than 20% heavier than forged - a good example is the CE28's which are 9.1 lbs each in the 15in size while the konig helium copies are 10.8lbs for that same size
