rims vs hid's ( i know odd question)
so, i kinda want rims. but i want hid. i know people hate guys who just cant make up their minds, but if you could buy rota subzeros for 470 shipped, or phillips hid with 6000k bulbs for 430 shipped, which would you do?
I would go for rims because they are a big deal of your car. HID's are nice but rims make more of a difference. Its only lights....you can only see them at night. AS of rims, they are seen more and gives a better look for your car.

if you can get 6000k hids for 400 jump on that. the basic 4200k is usually 400 and the 6000k bulbs are 400 for the pair on top of the kit. you could sell the kit and get rims and the standard philips kit
the phillips HID lights, burn out , just like any other fake HID light will, my friend has already had one of his burn out, and it was like 200 dollars to replace it. Too expensive mod, for just headlights. But rims are good if u don't get them too big , otherwise they will hurt your performance if that is what u are going for?
I would get the hid's. Even though I like my rims.
Neo, hids will not melt you housing. They run at 35 watts. And after market ones have a uv filter on the bulb to prevent discoloring the lenses.
I want hid sooooo bad. Christmas present for myself maybe.

The 6000K shouldnt melt your housing since HID's only use 35w of power. I would get the HID lights. Your stock rims are good for now, but the HID will be a world of difference. Waiting on mine to come, shoulda shipped out today. Yippie!!!!!!!!!!!!
