Default hondata datalogging and plx m-500

I already have an s200 with datalogging, rom editor and real time romulator. I am looking into widebands and the plx is a good one. My question is..... is the M-500 with there datalogging and everything else redundant because the hondata does that already?, should I just get the M-300 and be all set.

The 300 willdo the job, I just bought one and it has both 0-1 volt output and 0-5 volts, and can data log from either or be used with a stock (0-1 volt) ECU.
