rollbars and saftey harness questions
we all know that its very unsafe to drive on the street with just safety harnesses, becasue if you flip you are pretty much dead. my question is would a roll bar be enough to protect your head or do you need a full roll cage.
heres an example, but id be getting one with a harness bar.

With a bar not a cage, you have more risk of the A-pillar coming down during a hard roll - but if you're belted into a seat, hopefully it won't come far enough down to hurt you.
With a cage not a bar, you have more risk of hitting your non-helmeted head against the very hard metal halo bar over the window.
My vote for a street car? Bar not cage. My vote for a track car? Cage not bar.
That probably doesn't help much
