how long have you been driving your 300hp+....? (daily drivers)
my motor will be done soon and will be around 300 on a conservative tune until i can afford some bigger injectors. also this will be my daily driver. i wont be beatin this to hell but will run it occasionaly.
so my question is.. how long have you guys, that are 300+, been driving on the same build?
i know reliability is thrown out the window when we go fully built turbo. has anyone got 60,000 on the same build?
which motor are you running?
btw: h23 95' prelude @ about 15lbs

About 14,000 miles and still ok...
Well, I think the valve seals are gone in one cylinder but yeah... Nothing too major.
16psi on pump gas (92 octane). Benson 84mm sleeves, je pistons, crower rods, ported head, skunk2 valve train (retainers are going bye bye soon as I get some money), etc. etc. On a Drag kit with the ball bearing upgrade. Siemmens Deka 860cc injectors with a Walbro 255 fuel pump. Getting about 25-28mpg on the freeway.
A friend of mine had his car running for a good 8+ months. Stock sleeves, je pistons, eagle rods, block guard... custom kit. Put out 360 @ 12psi with his super 60. Running a T3/T04E now... but uhh, his motor was killed in action. Rod bearing disappeared on the #3 rod. I think it's cuz he never changes his oil =P haha jk Zol
All daily driven... probably 50+ miles a day. I think most motors will hold up pretty good as long as you keep up with maintenence and have them tuned. We run Uberdata on all of our cars and it works great.
I guess the real test will come when school/rotc starts for me. I'll be driving 80+ miles a day....

8 Yyears with 420hp and 385tq at the wheel. I have 45k on the motor - this is a JG tune and build motor(turn key package). My second on 500hp with 460tq at the wheel. also, a JG build and tune motor. I'v been driving this for 4years now w/ 25K.

yea...same here
i drive on avg. about 3000mi/month. i have to commute to school which is 80 miles round trip by itself. i probably wont even be at half boost most of the time. im pretty confident about the build and have spared almost no expense for it to be done right the first time. i also know tuning has everything to do with how long it last. i just hope that i can get atleast 60,000 before having to do anything other than normal maintenance

Hm. What kind of turbo you running? I am never in boost on my car unless I want to be and I'm running a T3/T04.

thats why I said "coming up on a year", actually like 9 to 10 months so far to be exact. I put about 17000 a year. I also go in friends cars alot when I go out. Too much temptation to drive fast when tipsy.
